A little bit off topic... [Mar. 17th, 2005|01:09 pm]
Fascism and National Socialism

...but I think that this is a good place to look around.

In 1914, a war started in europe and the United States did not get involved until 1917. The other day, I saw a movie about an American citizen who honorably signed up for the Brittish RAF in 1915. I am starting to write a piece of historical fiction about a second-generation German-American citizen who signed up for the German army in 1915.

My question is this: does anyone have any good resources on Germany 1870-1920? I am haphazardly taking out the first things I find in my college library, but does anyone have anything better for me?

Thank you all in advance!

I'm curious as to why you feel your race is superior to others (assuming you are in fact overtly racist). Most anthropologists would agree that the races haven't been separate long enough to establish significant evolutionary differences between them, as far as I know.

An attempt to kick-start the community. [Dec. 31st, 2004|03:35 pm]
Fascism and National Socialism
The Cotswolds Declaration of National Socialism

I. WE BELIEVE that an honest man can never be happy in a naked scramble for material gain and comfort, without any goal which he believes is greater than himself, and for which he is willing to sacrifice his own egotism. This goal was formerly provided by fundamentalist religions, but science and subversion have so weakened all traditional religions, and given man such an unwarranted, short-sighted conceit of his "power over Nature", that he has in effect become his own God. He is spiritually lost, even if he will not admit it. We believe that the only realistic goal which can still lift man out of his present unhappy selfishness and into the radiance of self-sacrificing idealism is the upward struggle of his race, the fight for the common good of his people.

II. WE BELIEVE that society can function successfully, and therefore happily, only as an ORGANISM; that all parts benefit when each part performs the function for which it is best suited to produce a unified, single-purposed whole, which is then capable of out-performing any single part, the whole thus vastly increasing the powers of all the cooperating parts and the parts, therefore, subordinating a portion of their individual freedom to the whole; that the whole perishes and all of the parts suffer whenever one part fails to perform its own function, usurps or interferes with the function of another part, or like a cancer devours all the nourishment and grows wildly and selfishly out of all proportion to its task.

III. WE BELIEVE that man makes genuine progress only when he approaches Nature humbly, and accepts and applies her eternal laws instead of arrogantly assuming to ignore and conquer Nature, as do the Marxists with their theories of the supremacy of environmental influence over the genetic truth of race, special laws of biological equality for humans only, and their insane denial of the primitive and fundamental human institution of private property.

IV. WE BELIEVE that struggle is the vital element of all evolutionary progress and the very essence of life itself; that it is the only method whereby we have won and can maintain dominion over the other animals of the earth; that we must therefore welcome struggle as a means of testing and improving us, and that we must despise weaklings who run away from struggle. We believe that life itself is awarded by Nature only to those who fight for it and win it, not those who wish or beg for it as a "right."

V. WE BELIEVE that no man is entitled to the services or the products of the labor of his fellow men unless he contributes at least an equal amount of goods or services of his own production or invention. We believe that the contribution by a member of society of nothing else but tokens called "money" is a fraud upon his fellows, and does not excuse a man capable of honest work of his responsibility to PRODUCE his share.

VI. WE BELIEVE that it is to the advantage of society to see that every honest man has freedom and opportunity to achieve his maximum potentials by preserving his health, protecting his from unforseeable and ruinous catastrophes, educating him to capacity in the areas of his abilities, and guarding him against political and economic exploitation.

Would anyone care to explain to me why fascism is preferable to other systems currently in place?

NPUSA platform [Aug. 17th, 2004|11:29 am]
Fascism and National Socialism
Here is the official platform of the political party I'm starting. The discussion group for is is
please join the discussion group even if you don't want to join the party.

Anyway, here is the platform:
The primary interest of the Nationalist Party of the United States of America (NPUSA) is to serve the interests of those living in America , and to serve the interests of America first. With that being said, here is the official party platform on various issues of 2004:

Abortion- We believe Abortion is immoral , and should be gradually phased out, and other contraceptives used in their place. Exceptions can be made for cases of incest and /or rape.

Gay Marriage-We believe marriage is for a man and a woman only. We do not believe homosexuality is natural, nor do we believe it should be encouraged. Statistics from countries that have already legalized gay marriage show that it is actually damaging to the family unit, and numbers of heterosexual marriages decrease.

Democracy- We believe that democracy has it’s advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately, we support a benevolent dictatorship, but we acknowledge that this is not always possible.

NPUSA getting elected into office- We acknowledge that this is not going to happen in the foreseeable future. That is why we will not waste money stupidly putting candidates into the race for no apparent reason. We simply are an organization that fights for the stated ideals in the platform.

Race- We believe and encourage members to take pride in their race and heritage, but we do not hold official opinions on race/ethnicity.

Health Care- The NPUSA believes that health care works best if it is privatized, due to the fact competition encourages lowered prices, and higher standards than governmental control. However we also we believe in universal health coverage. The government should provide for those not able to afford insurance.

General Economic Policy- The NPUSA supports a “lassaiz faire” economic system. NPUSA believes that free trade is the best system, as competition causes improvement. We believe that the government should stay out of business as much as possible, with the exception of breaking trusts.

The current conflict in Iraq- NPUSA believes that the present war in Iraq is both unjust, and is not beneficial to the American people. Therefore the NPUSA opposes the US’s involvement in Iraq. We acknowledge that at this point of time withdrawing troops is impossible. However, we believe this war has been only beneficial to the rich, and the reasons for the war include certain politicians interest in corporations such as Halleburton.

US monetary aid to Israel- The NPUSA opposes foreign aid to Israel, due to the fact it is not in the interest of the American people, nor is it in the interest of world peace.

This is a summary of the platform of the NPUSA for 2004. This is a “living document” All questions concerning issues not discussed may be presented to the head of party (Kieran Thomson) and will be added to the platform

Kieran Thomson
Head and Founder of the NPUSA

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer
long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs and
dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer
long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs and
dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press
conference and demands to know why the ant should be
allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the
shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in
his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can
this be, that in a country of such wealth, this
poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper,
and everybody cries when they sing, "It's Not Easy Being Green."

Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the
ant's house where the news stations film the group
singing, "We shall overcome."

Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for
the grasshopper's sake.

Tom Daschle & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with
Peter Jennings that the ant has gotten rich off the
back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate
tax hike on the ant to make him pay his "fair share."

Finally, the EEOC drafts the "Economic Equity and
Anti-Grasshopper Act," retroactive to the beginning
of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to
hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having
nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is
confiscated by the government.

Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the
grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant,
and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges
that Bill appointed from a list of single-parent
welfare recipients.

The ant loses the case.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up
the last bits of the ant's food while the government
house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old
house. It crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related
incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken
over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once
peaceful neighborhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Support Fascism!

Meritocratism [Jun. 18th, 2004|08:26 pm]
Fascism and National Socialism
I belive that a meritocratic class-based society would be best for a Fascist state.

Now, class struggle has been a plague to humanity for centuries. However, doing away with the entire concept of class, like Marxists propose, is impossible. It is human nature to sort themselves to classes. The mighty shall rise to the top, and the weak shall sink to the bottom where they belong.

The true problem with the traditional capitalist class structure is the class self-propagation. That is, the upper class propagates itself by ensuring that their children will be upper-class simply by being born to rich parents. The lower class propagates itself by not being able to provide their offspring with ample education and opportunity to succeed.

This is contrary to the very principles of Fascism. Fascism holds that the mighty should rule, and no other. But class self-propagation makes it possible for the weak to rule, simply because they inherit the power from their rich parents instead of fighting for power and earning the right to rule. Likewise, the strong can be thrust into a position of submission as the result of not getting the same chances for success as their richer contemporaries. This unjust assignment of power is at the base of the class struggle, and rightly so, because the weak do not deserve to be at the top.

My solution to this problem is simple. Ban all forms of inheritances and nepotism, and completely socialize the educational system. Everyone gets an equal start, and they will sort themselves into classes based on their aptitude.
